    LIPA Highlights

    As we wrap up another annual Preservation Week, it seems like a good time to review LIPA’s services and our accomplishments for the year. Here are the highlights.     Law-Related Digitization and Preservation Stories of 2013

    PALMPrint:  Preserving America’s Legal Materials in Print (PALMPrint) is a collaborate project of the New England Law Library Consortium (NELLCO) and the Legal Information Preservation Alliance (LIPA).  It aims to develop a shared, circulating collection of primary, U.S. legal materials in print.   The concept was announced in 2012, and in 2013, the project reached its membership goal with approximately 60 member libraries committing to support this project to-date.  For more

    LIPA and NELLCO collaborate on PALMPrint

    LIPA is pleased to announce Preserving America’s Legal Materials in Print (PALMPrint), an exciting collaborative pilot project aimed at developing a shared, circulating collection of primary U.S. legal materials in print. Working with NELLCO, the two organizations jointly have committed to underwrite $120,000.00 of the total cost of the three-year project.
