LIPA meeting at AALL

The Legal Information Preservation Alliance invites AALL participants to its annual business meeting in Austin:

           Sunday, July 16, 12:45 – 2:15 pm, Austin Convention Center, Room 8C

The meeting agenda includes:

1. a look at the LawArXiv open access repository

2. a view of the new PALMPrint interface

3. a report on the Legal Information Archive move to Preservica 

4. updates on other recent activities

5. a look at plans for the upcoming year
   

Anyone interested in preservation and the work of the Legal Information Preservation Alliance is welcome to attend the meeting.

And don’t forget to visit us in the Exhibit Hall at Booth #819, where we’ll have brochures, handouts and giveaways.

June Preservation Tip

Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) maintains a useful resource list for all things related to Digital Preservation. Whether your institution is already highly experienced in executing large-scale digitization projects, or has only a small number of digital resources important to preserve long-term, there is probably something to help you brush up on the best practices that meet your needs.
